Short Service Scam in Pakistan — How the Trap Works and How to Avoid It

"Short service" is a term used in Pakistani social media groups to advertise paid sexual services disguised as informal meet-ups. This page exposes how the scam works — so you can avoid it, and so vulnerable women can get help.

The Real Risks Nobody Tells You

• Legal prosecution: FIA Cybercrime actively monitors these networks. Hundreds are arrested in Pakistan each year through sting operations and digital surveillance
• Blackmail: Meetings are routinely recorded. The video is then used to extort thousands of rupees — or more — with threats to send to family
• Robbery and assault: Meeting strangers from these groups at unfamiliar locations is genuinely dangerous — robberies and attacks are common
• STI exposure: HIV, hepatitis B/C, syphilis — without protection, every encounter is a health risk
• Financial scam: Advance payment sent → ghosted. This happens in the majority of transactions
• You are funding trafficking: Many of the women in these networks are not there by choice

How the Short Service Scam Specifically Works

1. Post appears in Facebook group: "Short service available, hand to hand, [area name]"
2. You DM the number — a "manager" responds (not always the person in the photo)
3. They request advance payment — Rs. 2,000-10,000 — before giving location
4. Once paid: phone goes silent. You are blocked. Money is gone.
5. If a meeting does happen: it is recorded. Blackmail begins within days.
