Immediate medical

1. Flush the affected area with large amounts of water immediately — do not use anything else
2. Remove clothing from affected area
3. Get to the nearest hospital emergency — do not wait
4. Burns units: Jinnah Hospital Karachi, Services Hospital Lahore, PIMS Islamabad

Legal rights

Under the Acid Control Act 2011 and PPCA amendments: the perpetrator faces up to life imprisonment. The acid seller who sold without verification faces up to 7 years. You have the right to file an FIR. You have the right to legal aid. You have the right to compensation.
